If you are running Summit on a Windows-based standalone workstation: Go to Start / Programs menu. If Pervasive is listed, Pervasive.SQL 2000 Workstation is present on the machine. If not, then Btrieve 6.15 is on the machine.
If you are running Summit on a DOS-based standalone workstation: Pervasive 6.15 is present on the machine.
If you are running Summit on a Windows NT-based client-server network: At the NT Server, go to Start / Settings / Control Panel / Services. Scroll down to the Pervasive engine and view its version number. Version 7.8 and above indicates Pervasive 2000 or above. Versions 7.0 and 6.15 indicate Pervasive 7.0 and Btrieve 6.15, respectively.
If you are running Summit on a Novell-based client-server network: At the Novell Server, enter the command “Modules”. Paginate through the module listing until the Pervasive version number is displayed. Version 7.8 and above indicates Pervasive 2000 or above. Versions 7.0 and 6.15 indicate Pervasive 7.0 and Btrieve 6.15, respectively. If you are running Summit on a Linux-based client-server network: You are running Pervasive 2000 |
