Through Edit Schedules you can add spots from the Makegoods Pending file, remove spots to the makegoods file, change copy order numbers/page, move spots by changing the run time, change criteria for an avail/break, make certain changes to programming (e.g. a game ran long), etc. Use in conjunction with View Makegoods.

You can use this module to edit schedules before printing the final log, to edit after the log has aired (reconcile the log), and to make adjustments to the log before billing.

Many functions are available from the form menus and also by right-clicking in the grid.

You can open multiple schedule windows if you wish to view or edit multiple dates and/or channels simultaneously.

You can drag & drop to edit spot and makegood placement, or use the menu options along the top, or by right-clicking in the schedule or makegood window.

You can drag & drop between schedule windows, and between schedule windows and the makegood window. If you need to navigate the grid while dragging, position the mouse pointer over the navigation buttons.

Use control+click to highlight spots to exchange.

Double-click a contract number, copy number, or page number in any window to open the data entry form for that item.

When reconciling your logs, you check to see what actually ran and then change the times on the system’s log to ensure they are the same as the station’s logs.  To do this, follow these procedures:

If a break ran at a different time than specified in Summit, change the start time of that break.  All spots within that break will move with it.
If a spot did not run at all, remove it into makegoods.
If a spot is not going to be made good, you can cancel that spot instead

Note: spots will not necessarily appear in breaks in the order they will appear on logs and in schedule files. The system will adjust breaks before printing logs and creating schedule files if you are using longest or shortest break length fill, break position filling, or dual spots.
