Report Summaries

Sales Summary
Describes
what was sold during a specific time, based
on the contract date. This report shows the total dollar value of
contracts for a specific time. Summit includes all contracts with a
“Contract Date” that falls within the from/thru dates that you specify
for that report. Summit also includes the dollar value of spots that
should air outside these from/thru dates. Amounts
are computed from internal rates. (See internal
rate and Both, External or
Internal).

Earned
Revenue Projection
This report will detail what was ordered to run during a time
period. The revenue projection shows the value of spots scheduled to air
during the from/thru dates that you choose. Summit excludes the dollar
value of spots scheduled outside these dates, even though they may be part
of the contract. Amounts are computed from
internal rates. (See internal
rate and Both, External or
Internal).

Revenue
Distribution Analysis
This report shows a
breakdown of revenue by dollar amounts and percentages.
The report lists this by the largest amount to the smallest amount,
so that you can quickly see a revenue breakdown.
You may sort by Advertiser to determine which advertisers comprise
the top 50% of your revenue and the dollar amounts each advertiser spends.
This may come in handy when assigning fillers, as you can quickly
determine to offer bonus spots.
If sorting by account executive, you may determine which account
executive is responsible for securing the highest percentage of your
operation's overall revenue. Amounts
are computed from internal rates. (See internal
rate and Both, External or
Internal).

Revenue Analysis
Typically
used for political advertising since it details the average dollar amount
for a specific spot. This report is also used for sales management since
it is useful in determining what the rates should be when there is low
inventory. Prints the average
dollar amount earned during specific dates for 30s, 60s, and other length
spots. This feature is used to determine the average dollar rate spent per
type of spot, advertiser, and contract. Amounts
are computed from internal rates. (See internal
rate and Both, External or
Internal).

Revenue
Analysis by Daypart
This report gives you information on what
constitutes your revenue, and reports this information to you by daypart.
With this report, you may plan prices for specific parts of the day
based on the information given. You
may also see that there is a need to push certain dayparts to your
clients. You may run the report for the time period you specify
using from and thru dates. So
it is possible to see that in the future you have a daypart that is not
bringing in as much money as it should or that there is one daypart that
is bringing in more money than you thought it would. Amounts
are computed from internal rates. (See internal
rate and Both, External or
Internal).

Comparative
Billing Projection
This
reports projects net or gross billing figures for one month and compares
them to what was billing that same month last year, two years ago, and the
target billing for this year. The billing cycle entered on the contract
determines the billing date cut off. Amounts
are computed from external rates. (See internal
rate and Both, External or
Internal).
