Right-click in the layout pane for options to copy, rename, remove selected layouts. If you want to change one of the system default layouts, first copy it to a new layout, rename it, and then edit and use that one.

First select the module, then the report, then the layout. Selecting the layout will popup a form for viewing/editing that layout. Different forms will appear for different reports. Some examples are below.

Header test refers to fixed text that prints in the header and footer of the report. Row and Col are absolute coordinates on the report.  To increase the amount of blank space at the bottom of the report, define a blank line to print as many lines up from the bottom as you want blank space. e.g. line 64 on a portrait report will leave 1/2 inch.

Header Detail refers to variable information that prints in the header and footer of the report. Row and Col are absolute coordinates on the report. Set Row to zero for variables that are not to print. Dec is number of decimal points to print for numeric values.

Body Detail refers to variable information, usually from the primary records selected for the report. Row is a relative coordinate, referring to each record printed. Col is an absolute coordinate. Set Row to zero for variables that are not to print. Dec is number of decimal points to print for numeric values.

Miscellaneous Data defines various other reporting parameters, such as orientation and font size.

Reports are formatted with 6 lines per inch vertically. Portrait reports have 66 lines and landscape reports have 51 lines. Font size 12 has 10 columns per inch horizontally, 10 has 12 columns per inch, and 7 has 17 columns per inch.

Lgth can be set to zero for string fields to print the entire string.  Fields longer than the lgth setting will be truncated.

Page determines what page the field will print on. Available choices are: All, First, Last, eXcept First, eXcept Last.
