Define Channels/Groups

Home Up Search Table of Contents Contact Us What's New Glossary

You define all of the discrete channels in your system here. A channel is generally an entity on which programs and commercials are scheduled and run. It may be an individual radio or TV station, or a cable network on a headend. You also define various groups of channels: system groups, network groups, and user groups. Programs and spot schedules can be assigned to groups to simplify data entry for many different channels.
