You may alphabetize most of the reports in the system by one or more criteria. The reports are organized by the top selection, then within the top selection by the second, and so on. The component on the form usually looks something like this:
The drop down menu is invoked by right-clicking over the fields in the Alphabetize by panel. You may then specify a sort selection by clicking over the appropriate menu item. A sort selection must be selected to preview or print a report. The sort selections listed below may not be included on every report form. Note: in general, the more sort selections chosen, the slower the report will be generated. Note: it is possible to select unreasonable options and get very bizarre results, e.g. multiple sort titles for each record, etc. |
