Sales Types (aka revenue categories) are assigned to each advertiser and contract to indicate the type of revenue it will generate.  These codes are used to organize, select, and subtotal information for various traffic, sales and accounts receivable reports.

Field Descriptions

Code: Up to 4 characters to describe this sales type. Codes display and print where the description field would be too long.

Description:  Enter a description for this sales type. This description will print on various reports when you select sales type as an organization level.

You can choose to organize by number or description.
