Industry codes are assigned to each advertiser to designate their type of business.  Industries are defined to:  1)  separate spots on the log from other spots with the same industry, 2)  provide sales figure history for gross or net dollars billed per industry, and 3)  allow sales and A/R reports to print sub-totals by industry.  You may also define additional spot separators through this form, such as product separations, for use when two different industries are advertising the same type of product and need separation.
