This module contains various utility programs and functions. We recommend you restrict access to this module to supervisory personnel only. Normally you will only use these functions as directed by Summit Support.
Note: many of these functions require that no other users be logged onto the system and that you logon to this module directly, i.e. not from the main Summit For Windows module.
Analyzes the database for potential problems. Direct logon required.
Displays status of each table in the database.
Rebuilds database tables that may be corrupt. Direct logon required.
Archives database tables. Direct logon required.
Implements any needed structural changes in database tables. Direct logon required.
Initializes Media IDs from copy and contracts.
Rebuilds program key table.
Remove extended schedules.
Remove assigned fillers.
Remove assigned copy.
Remove expired database records.
Repairs A/R balances if necessary due to rounding errors, etc.
Checks integrity of A/R tables.
Checks integrity of programming tables and records.
Information that applies to each specific Context/Channel is entered here. You can also put a check next to the Summit modules that are used for this Context.
Summit has the capability to automatically number your media and keep track of what numbers have been used. You may set Auto Media ID numbering for Programs, Contracts and Copy. You may use a different numbering scheme for each channel/context, or use a common database of Media ID numbers for all your channels.
Remove old system log records. Direct logon required.
Display system log file information.
Initialize contract, advertiser, and other record fields to default values.
